It was a lucky co-incidence for our pr for Devon & Cornwall that Rosamunde Pilchers novel “The Shellseekers” had just become a bestseller and that the Pilcher TV movies were real blockbusters every Sunday night. Here we saw our big chance. Many press trips, press releases and published articles later Germany not only knew that all Rosamunde Pilcher soaps have a happy-ending, they had also learnt that Devon and Cornwall is Rosamunde Pilcher country. Product placement at its very best. Job done!
