The legendary golf resort Gleneagles was our first luxury hotel client in the early 90ies. Here we got acquainted and fell in love with the wonderful and most interesting world of historic grand hotels; we had our first self test – together with non-golfing journalists – on “learn how to golf in three days”; we met Jacky Stewart in his second role as clay pidgeon shooting instructor; we acquired a taste for whisky and haggis and discovered the secret charm of the kilt. All this was part of our quest for themes and story angles – and for seven years we managed to generate a continuous flow of coverage for Gleneagles in the German media.
